The honest comparison
to brand-name pricing.

Brand-name GLP-1 medications can cost over $1,000/mo out-of-pocket. PureForty uses compounded formulations — a meaningful cost difference with an important caveat.

The honest caveat

PureForty's compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been individually evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Brand-name medications have completed the full FDA approval process. The cost difference is real and significant — but so is this distinction. Discuss your options with your clinician.

FSA / HSA Reimbursement

GLP-1 medications prescribed for weight loss may be eligible for FSA or HSA reimbursement under many plan rules — but eligibility varies. PureForty provides an itemized receipt with each order that includes the prescription details needed for most reimbursement claims. Always verify your plan's rules before assuming coverage.

The price you see
is all you pay.

There are no add-on fees at checkout. Every item below is included with every order, regardless of supply length.

Clinician Consultation

A licensed US physician or nurse practitioner reviews your health intake and writes a prescription if appropriate. This is a real medical review — not an auto-approval. Included at no extra charge.

Compounded Medication

Your prescribed supply of semaglutide or tirzepatide, prepared by an accredited compounding pharmacy. Compounded medication is not FDA-approved. Temperature-controlled packaging for integrity in transit.

Injection Supplies

Syringes, needles, alcohol prep pads, and sharps disposal guidance. Everything needed for weekly self-injection, included with every order.

Secure Clinician Messaging

Ongoing access to your care team for questions, concerns, or dose adjustment requests. Clinicians typically respond within 24 business hours.

Free 2-Day Shipping

Every order ships free with 2-day expedited delivery via a licensed pharmaceutical courier. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Questions about
how billing works.

Correct — no subscription, no automatic billing. Each order is a one-time purchase. If you want to refill, you return to your account and place a new order. Nothing will be charged without your explicit action.
When you're approaching the end of your supply, you'll receive a reminder from your care team. Log into your account, confirm your refill, and check out. Your clinician may request an updated health check before re-prescribing — this is typically a quick async message, not a full new intake.
Compounded medications cannot be returned or resold once dispensed, as per pharmacy regulations. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — see our refund policy for details. We don't trap you with a subscription, so you choose your supply length before purchasing.
At checkout, enter your FSA or HSA card just like a regular payment card. If your plan requires a Letter of Medical Necessity or itemized receipt for reimbursement, we provide both in your account after each order. Contact your plan administrator to confirm eligibility before purchasing.
We're integrating Afterpay and Affirm — both are targeted for availability later in 2026. We'll notify patients when these options go live. In the meantime, FSA/HSA effectively provides a similar benefit if you fund your account in advance.
No. The price you see on this page covers the assessment, medication, supplies, and shipping. There are no separate consultation fees, platform fees, or membership charges. If your state requires a live synchronous telehealth visit (rather than async review), we'll notify you before you pay — that's the only scenario where additional coordination may be required.
